College Phase
New College Bradford
Situated in the heart of the city centre, New College Bradford is working with 1300 students in one of the most educational demanding contexts in the country. Only 42% of schools in the region are graded “good” or “outstanding” by Ofsted, compared to a national average of 76%. Bradford is the fifth most deprived local authority in England, and 29% of children live below the poverty line.
Within that context, New College Bradford has already established itself as one of the leading post-16 providers in the region. In 2023, New College Bradford was graded outstanding in all areas by Ofsted.

New College Doncaster
Based in the suburb of Auckley, New College Doncaster welcomed their first cohort in September 2017, and now has over 1300 students. Doncaster has a range of challenges as a region: one third of children live in poverty; more people of working age claim benefits than in the rest of England; participation in post-16 education is below the national average, and only 4 out of 18 schools have an above average Progress 8 score.
Yet despite this, New College Doncaster has quickly built a reputation for being the strongest provider of 16-19 education in the Doncaster area. In 2019, it topped the DfE’s table for student progress at A-Level in any Doncaster school or college, whilst achievement rates for that year placed the college fourth in the DfE’s data for all sixth form colleges across the country. In December 2021, New College Doncaster was graded outstanding in all areas by Ofsted.

New College Pontefract
Drawing in students from across Wakefield, Leeds, Barnsley and Selby, New College Pontefract enrols over 2700 students from a region with an average child poverty rate of 25%, but with neighbourhoods where this reaches up to 31%, 37% and 39%. Only 7 of the 20 secondary schools from which the college recruits have an above average Progress 8 score, and HE progression is below the national average.
New College Pontefract has continued to grow and succeed since its 2014 “outstanding” Ofsted report. Since then, it has remained in the top five sixth form colleges included in the DfE league tables for achievement, and in 2020 won both the coveted TES Sixth Form College of the Year award and TES Best Overall FE Provider of the Year award, becoming the first sixth form college in the country to do so. In 2023, New College Pontefract retained its Ofsted outstanding status, being graded outstanding in all areas.

Wingfield Academy
Wingfield Academy is an 11-16 secondary school with 900 students. The school has established a reputation in the area for combining a supportive educational environment with a culture of high expectations for students,
Wingfield Academy works with over 900 students and is based in a ward that is in the top 6% most deprived wards in England. Rotherham itself is the 52nd most deprived district in England, and educational data amongst adults in the area is poor, with percentage rates for degrees well below the national average, and the percentage of adults with no qualifications well above the national average. The school has established a reputation in the area for combining a supportive educational environment with a culture of high expectations for students, a strategy which has helped strengthen its outcomes for learners, thereby making it an increasingly popular choice with parents.
Its Progress 8 and Attainment 8 scores in 2018 were above both the Rotherham and the national average, marking it out as one of the best schools in Rotherham, and it received a “good” Ofsted inspection in 2017. In 2021, the academy achieved a strong set of results with 78.6% of students achieving a grade 4 or above, including English and Maths, and 52.4% of students achieving a grade 5 or above including English and Maths. Progress 8 recorded 0.77 and attainment 8 54.9.
Situated in the north of Rotherham, the school has a spacious site with a horticulture centre, several sports pitches and even its own small lake and copse. It also has good links with the M1, A1(M) and M18.

Redscope Primary School
Our school is a special place in which we will uncover your child’s talents and celebrate their achievements. It is a happy and caring place.
We endeavour to make sessions interesting and expect that children will work hard and be enthusiastic about their learning. We believe in making sure that children have a whole host of experiences during their time at school (our ‘bucket list’) from going for a walk in the woods, learning to swim, playing a musical instrument and going on residential. Whilst we do have a wide curriculum with lots of exciting experiences, we believe that children succeed by mastering the basics of reading, writing and mathematics. Teachers track children’s progress thoroughly and help them to realise their potential. The classes are managed to ensure the progress of all pupils taking into account differing abilities and strengths and achievement is continually monitored.
We understand that your child is special and that they can make a positive contribution to life in school and in the wider community. We look forward to working with you in order to ensure that your child makes progress and embraces the school motto of ‘being the best that they can be’ in all aspects of their life.
